Prague Visit (continued)

On Friday (May 18) our morning began in Prague as we visited the very old Jewish Quarter.
Pictured below is the Old-New Jewish synagogue. It is the oldest site in the Jewish Prague
area and was built in the last third of the 13th century...it is still in use today!

We visited the Jewish Cemetary...simply an amazing site!

We walked the streets near the Jewish Community as we saw a few more synagogues and learned about the Jewish people and their customs.

In the afternoon, we went to the Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral.
Though we didn't take a formal toured, we enjoyed looking, reading and being in awe at this beautiful site!

The Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral are considered the most significant of the Czech monuments.

We admired the many stained glass murals...
This is the burial site of the Czech patron saint...St. Wencelas.

We enjoyed being tourists...

Beautiful Prague...I love the old and new Prague pictured in these scenic views.
Though we loved touring...at times we were all a bit tired!

We returned to the Prague Square and saw beautiful churches...
enjoyed eating again...
silly faces...
and delicious desserts!
Between the five of us we finished all of these yummy creations!
Our Prague visit ended and we loved it all!
